Thinking About Changing Your Security Settings?

Written by BQE University | Oct 27, 2016

In the latest ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice 2016 release, we have included the Strong Password feature in both the Basic and Pro editions. Previously reserved for Enterprise users only, this update means that irrespective of the edition you’re using, you will now have access to this powerful security feature allowing you to set your own password policy. So now you can enforce a strong password according to your company’s rules or reset a password after a set number of days.

Furthermore, extensive options are available for managing users and securing your data. You can grant or deny privileges to module (Billing, Contacts, etc.) specific features (for example, creating and deleting invoices or deleting contacts). Security options are also available to control what ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice reports users can view or print. Privileges can be granted on a user-by-user basis or they can be applied by work groups. Other user related preferences include entering HR details for users, setting up email synchronization and time and expense entry defaults.

Overall, BQE is committed to protecting your business information and ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice 2016 delivers the ‘best-in-class’ security features.
