Are you thinking about leaving TimeSlips? We’ve been seeing many people make the switch to BillQuick and BillQuick Online, and one of the reasons may well be the mobility factor. Timeslips has E-Center, where you can access and enter your time online. Is this a complete solution? We’re not so sure. You can only see work in process. Once your billing admin downloads your time in TimeSlips, it is no longer available online for a user to edit or review. TimeSlips users cannot keep track of their monthly numbers efficiently.
BillQuick Desktop offers complete mobility. With BillQuick Desktop, you can get BillQuick Web Suite, which will sync your data in real time, giving you access to your data through the web. BillQuick Web Suite also gives you the ability to use the BillQuick Mobile app with your BillQuick Desktop data.
It is becoming more and more important these days, to be able to run your firm from anywhere. This is why we need complete mobility. Our whole culture is experiencing a shift. I can be anywhere, at any time, and have access to my information.
I don’t want to think about work when I am on vacation, however it gives me peace of mind to know that I can access everything if I need to. As an accounting professional, this is especially important. If someone has an issue with their payroll, I can say, “oh I’m sorry, I’m on vacation, I can’t help you!” I have my clients set up completely in the cloud, so I never have to worry about a thing.
Another major advantage to having everything running in the cloud, and especially mobile, is the elimination of IT costs. Your IT company will have all kinds of reasons for discouraging you from moving to the cloud. It’s all based on self preservation, and not based on what is in your best interests!
I spend most of my time in my home office, so I don’t often need mobile, but I LOVE knowing that when I leave my home to meet a friend for dinner tonight, I won’t be stuck anywhere, that I can’t handle something, if I need to for a client.
The key to having complete mobility with an application, is using the Mobile app. Let’s take a look at the BillQuick Mobile App.
