ArchiOffice has robust reporting tools that help you stay on top of your projects and easily understand your finances. You can choose from more than 50 reports, including Work-in-Hand, WIP with A/R Aging, Bi-Weekly Timecard and Time & Expense. The software also allows you to customize reports and invoices using Crystal Reports®, create memorized reports from previously-used templates and store any report as a PDF file. Here are some tips and tricks to help you maximize your use of the reporting features in ArchiOffice.
Tip #1: To expedite running the same report over and over again, the next time you do a search prior to generating a report, click the Memorize button to save that report. You can share it with others or keep it private. This is helpful for complex searches that might require reducing or extending a set of records.
Tip #2: You can control which users access what reports by specifying those permissions on the Preferences > Users > Reports screen.
Tip #3: You can build a report using the optional Search criteria and then use Memorize to save it as a custom report. It saves all your search criteria so that you can run the report again in the future.
Tip #4: Don’t modify the standard master reports provided with ArchiOffice as your edits might be overwritten during an update or upgrade. Instead, use Crystal Reports Designer to edit copies of those reports or have us create custom reports for you.
Tip #5: As you cannot delete inactive or terminated employees in ArchiOffice, when you run a report, choose the ‘Active’ option to include only active employees or projects.
